A different kind of Christmas colour

Christmasy and busy and taking lots of photos but not having time to get film developed...I like it when you get film back though and remember people and places. I hope I get some good Oh, that's right! moments!

Sometimes whatever camera you have on you does ok though. {I mainly wanted an excuse to test my new-found diptych-making 'skills'. It's a bit painful!}...Christmas colour here is all about blue skies, lush greenery, long warm evenings and the pohutakawa- the New Zealand Christmas tree. Different is nice sometimes :)

  2. I love the pohutakawa. It's such a beautiful tree. I brought seeds for my mum back to France when I left NZ, but she never used them. I am not sure it would have worked !

Carol: that's really weird! :( I am not sure....I will check it out.

  4. As much as I love snow, cold and winter, it gets pretty old, pretty fast and I think I could/would trade it all for "blue skies, lush greenery, long warm evenings and the pohutakawa!
