Thanksgiving

So, it wasn't Thanksgiving in New Zealand...or even back home. But it was for some American friends here and the best thing about living abroad and travelling is you get to celebrate everyone's holidays. I am definitely thankful for that! They threw an "orphan's thanksgiving" . It involved a homecooked feast, party games, plenty of silly staged 'awkward family photos' { best these don't see the light of day on the interweb!!}, an interlude of dancing, much laughter and some strong mojitos.- I quite like thanksgiving! :) -   and I am thankful I get the chance the see the world and celebrate with lots of different people. Hope a good one was had by all who celebrate.

  1. Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving. I'm an American living in New Zealand and it's the one holiday I miss the most.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving Halley! I think it's a lovely holiday, food and laughter and good people- without present stress :) Are you in Auckland, have you been to Martha's Vineyard? Apparently it sells all American food!!
