Evenings by the sea

We are blessed with long weekends at the moment in New Zealand. This one is our last for a while though and has been calm and lovely. Lots of coffee and a bone-chilling but brilliant swim. I finally got 2 rolls of film developed when I found a lab open today- this one finished off a roll and I knew it might not capture the light "just so" in that one chance. But it makes me remember the feeling of driving along and having to pull over, jump out, take the photo and sit and watch the sun go down over my lovely adopted city :)

Now off to scare myself silly by reading The Historian.
