January is splendid so far, with my parents here and the sun a-shining. We have been staying up north in the most amazing house on stilts- I won't want to leave. We also ventured further north the other day to Doubtless Bay- it is absolutely stunning and has every element of the Great Kiwi Summer- endless beaches, gorgeous surf to play in, pohutakawa, sunshine, beach cricket, and fish & chips {well, just chips for veggie me!}. Choice :)
